Welcome: Josie Villanueva Joins the Fulcrum Team

Josie Villanueva joined Fulcrum as Vice President after serving as Counselor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she worked on policy affecting domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, unaccompanied minors, Afghan resettlement, and early childcare.

From 2011 to 2020, she built her career on Capitol Hill as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to Rep. Steven Horsford (D-NV), with earlier roles for Senators Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin. She was later promoted to Principal in December 2024, alongside Miya Patel and Sasha Hernandez.
